If you need a phone outlet this is a good alternative to the costly installation. However, it is very sensitive to static. No surge protectors or extension cords! I have mine for a fax in my office and it is acceptable. Not crystal clear for a phone conversation, that is why the 4 stars and not 5..

Excellent product. Works exactly as advertised. I use it to connect my Directv HD DVR for movies on demand sent via the internet.

Basic phone adapter, once installed it's pretty low maintenance so far.

I purchased this wireless phone jack to use with my new HP printer, scanner, & fax. The printer does not fax wirelessly. The emails I received stated that it would NOT work with VOIP. The unit is easy to operate but I could not get rid of the noise it added to my phone line. I wanted to use it for faxing but could not send a single fax due to the added noise. I've spend time making sure there are no surge protectors or other devices around it but it still did not work for me. I'll probably return it.

I bought this product believing I could use it for a DSL phone line. No where did it say it would not work with DSL, I contacted Philips and was told it would not work. I do not have the original packaging or box so I guess I'm stuck with it until I find someone who needs this jack.
