Customer Reviews
I thought I would take a chance on a "refurbished" DVD player and frankly, I wish I hadn't. It works fine, but is really noisy at times. It has a constant hum that is annoying. Also, when the unit is off, the red "standby" button is lit. That kind of bugs me. I don't like lights on when an appliance is "off". I'll keep it, simply because I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. But I wish I had shopped around a little more. The remote control is difficult to get used to, it has buttons in odd places and there is no open/close button. Overall, it is a fair product, but I am a little disappointed in my purchase.

I got the dvd player for christmas so i can play my favorite dvd that is only sold in german, but can be made into english. It worked for a while then one day it just went crazy and stopped working. We sent it back and they said that they'd either fix it IF THEY CAN, but if they can't they would send me my money back. I received my money back. It's not worth trying.

I wanted a player that was able to play all regions, and though this comes in region 1 only, it is very easily changed with a simple code typed into the remote. It is working great as a region free player (although we have only had it for less than 1 week).

Technically speaking the DVD player works great and is easy to use, however when it came in the box, I had to clean the entire thing. It seems like it had been used before and the remote control had food stuck to it, which was disgusting. I was not aware that this was a refurbished DVD player or a used one as I do not remember it being on the description. I did not hassle with sending it back since it was just something we needed for the kids play room. It was cheap and not worth the hassle.

Easiest DVD player I ever had. I attached it, plugged it in and off it went. It takes up very little room.
