I got this refurbished, which was an excellent value. I've had no problems with it whatsoever thus far. The interface on the DivX DVDs is easy to use, and the quality is really nice as well. It's very easy to set up and use--I'm sure even someone who isn't very proficient with electronics could do it with no trouble. The only complaint I have is that it's a bit loud when reading DVDs. I panicked a little at first because I thought it was broken! That's a very minor issue though, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to a friend.

It works as should. It plays avi format with no problem. The remote respond is slow and only if you are close to player, from the 3 yards distance player does not respond to remote. There is no open/close button on remote, but if carefully read instruction there is note, that you can open/close disc tray by pressing stop button for about 2-3 seconds. In overall it is a good buy for the price.

Quick shipping, great value, good quality and easy to connect and use. I wanted a DVR that gave good picture quality and sound but didn't want to go overboard on price. I got what I wanted and more..... being tech challenged, it was easy to set up and to use the many functions.

Easy to set up, audio and video quality is excellent on my non-flat screen tv, all the basic functions you need in a DVD player. It is pretty slow to load but everything I've thrown at it so far has played. Regarding the remote the one I received does not have an eject/open button on it so I'm gonna say that's hit or miss but that's not a sticking point for me. I would have given it five stars but the load time should be faster considering the technology currently available.

I really love my DVD player. It plays all my DVD and CD. It has hooked up for all my HDTV connection. The connecting cables are not included. There is an open/close button on the remote it is a button that has an arrow at the top of the remote. I will recommend it to all my friend and family.

Doesnt read dvd's , it doesnt have HDMI . one of the worst progressive scan dvd players out there . I hate it

We needed a DVD player in the office, and this serves us well.

Player has no s-video output.I have never seen a remote control that has no eject button.The response of the remote is extremely slow. The battery terminal in the remote uses wire instead of a metal tab.(what this means is each time you change batteries or drop the remote, your going to have to manipulate the battery placement repeatedly until the batteries make contact)
