Great for the price
Bought this for a vacation home because cable is not available and satelitte costs too much. The day I got to the house I quickly hooked it up and just laid it on top of the TV and it started picking up channels. When the antenna was mounted and raised it picked up many local channels with amazing picture quality. The installation was simple, just make sure every nut, bolt and screw is tight. I gave the antenna 4 stars only because it does not like wind. When the wind was blowing hard the picture on the TV was very pixelated.

Not the best, but will do
This is an antenna for on a pole either in attic or on the outside of a house. The existing amplification box and cord goes right behind the television. It is very poorly constructed and the units power cord stopped working in the first week. The amplification box is small but has really rough corners if you reached back blindly it might cut you. Quality: not even as good as the amplified in room antennas. My in-room antenna is 16DB gain and gets more stations than this device. I did not return it, but should have!

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The power cord shipped with the unit is not well designed and had to be replaced within the first week.
