Customer Reviews
I bought this VCR because I was transferring our family home movies from VHS to DVD. I needed a simple VHS but was worried about buying a VHS from a thrift store because usually people sell them after it has eaten a tape. I decided to spend a little bit more on something that I knew wouldn't eat my tapes and this product did it. All of the connections are easy to use and it came with the AV cable as well as a remote which made the conversion process a whole lot easier. The quality of the VHS was actually quite surprisingly good for how old my VHSs are. Of course VHS degrade in quality completely independent of the VHS player but this VHS player gave me great quality even on my oldest VHSs. I would recommend this to someone who doesn't want to give up their VHSs or has software to convert VHS to DVD. I have not tried the dvd player yet but if the quality of it is close to the VHS player I am quite happy. Also the refurbished part of this player has not affected the quality.
It's a simple machine that works perfectly for us.
Great product and great value. Would recommend to everyone.
I recently bought this unit because my second dvd unit quit working. I had 2 separate units 1 dvd player and 1 vcr unit. I decided to buy 1 unit to save on space and to update vcr unit. I havent been disapointed this unit was super easy to set up and i was watching someone within minutes. This was a very good buy and i dont think that you will be disapointed
