Better than the Sony I had, in some ways.
I had a Sony version of this which quit on me after a number of years. Decided to replace it with this one because the price was better, the controls are easier to access and for a nominal extra fee, I bought a 2 year replacement plan. My only complaint is that when turned off mid film, it doesn't save the location I was at like the Sony did, so I have to wait for the opening warnings, etc. and go back to the menu to find my spot. Still, the controls make it all worth it. The Sony's were along the bottom of the screen and impossible to see unless I turned on a light. I can find this one's controls by touch alone.
