Died after a couple of months
I really liked this DVD player at first and then unfortunately it stopped working after a couple of months for no apparent reason. I don't know if it was the model or that it was refurbished. Regardless, I probably would not buy refurbished again.

If you're picky
about your viewing experience, this little unit is not for you. But for those of us who grew up on pictures via antenna, it's still a marvel that this works at all. For the money, this is a nice little unit that will let you watch your old tv black and white shows on cheap DVD just fine. I agree that it would be nice if you could watch it while it was charging but for what I wanted it for it's fine.

I received the DVD player and it looks really nice.I have not had an opportunity to fully use it yet. I purchased it for a trip in September.I did charge it and made sure it worked. For the price it is really nice and easy to use.
