I really like these speakers and I gave them as a gift. For the price, this is an excellent choice. My only reservation about this product is that they are not as loud as I would like, but I guess you come to expect that with the price. If you would like a bigger sound, pay a little more.........

This stereo has a wonderful sound and looks great! My only complaint is that the remote doesn't work very well sometimes, even with new batteries. But other than that, it's a top notch item!

Everything arrived as promised and in less then a week. Everything looks new and works great. The speaker's sound quality is below par and it appears more money was placed on the appearance of the speakers then on the sound quality. But for the price, I can't complain too much. Note to Overstock packaging: Everything arrived undamaged BUT the speakers were placed much to close to the side of the box with very minimum blister packaging. It was very lucky that they were not damaged as the other side of the box was dented. If the speakers had been on the dented side of the box, they would have been dented also. Please do a better job of providing a minimum of 2" clearance from the product to the side of the shipping container.

Merchandise arrived promptly however there was a small mark on the box, a large mark on one of the speakers and a tinny rattling sound when used. Not a Christmas gift I am proud to have given.

I purchased this system for my boyfriend for Christmas and I've decided that I will be purchasing one for myself. For the price this is an excellent quality system. When I tell people how much I payed they dont believe me.

Ordered a refurb - did not play CDs and FM sound showed that one speaker was also damaged.

I couldn't be happier with this product minus a very minor complaint. The sound is excellent, the two aux in lines make connecting ipods and Satellite/cable box a sinch. The dvd play back seems to be very good to me but we have a regular cheap TV in our bedroom so I can't vouch for how it would look on a large plazma/lcd screen. The minor complaint is that the remote is a little finiky but once you get used to it it's ok. (i.e. there is a little too long a delay between when you press a button and the unit responds, the responce is not instantainous so you hve to hold the button for .5 to 1 second before something happens.) The unit does not have a usb input nor does it play ACC (apple) format from a disc there for it gets 4 stars on features. The unit arived within 4 days well packed but did not come with a power cord! I had to scavange old systems to find one but the quality of the product leave me less anoyed than maybe I should be.So if your looking for a dvd audio for a bedroom or small living room I couldn't recommend this higher.

I've had this system for several weeks now, and I couldn't be happier. It is compact, yet the sound it produces is clear and full. I love the blue lighting that glows when it's turned on; it reminds me of ground fx on some souped-up cars. Connecting everything was slightly tricky, though I'm only an average technological person. The speakers are so beautiful that they're like home accessories that I want to proudly display rather than hide. I love the "night" sound setting, since I live in an apartment; I can hear everything said, but don't disturb my neighbors even when it's a late-night movie fest. Buy it. It's wonderful. I only wish that it played more than one dvd at a time. I haven't had a chance to check its MP3-playing capacities, but I feel confident that that will also work beautifully, just like everything else!
