These are some of the most natural sounding and comfortable headphones I've ever used. Audiophile grade. Open back design gives them a great acoustic quality. You can put these up against any $200 pair of headphones. The velvet ear pads are just great and the head strap is very light. Also note that these have 50mm drivers!
Decided to give this product a try and have been extremely satisfied. The design is a little outlandish ... lots of bars going over the head, although I can't see them when wearing, so no big deal ... but very comfortable (can wear for hours), sound is good and the price was excellent. Package comes with lots of useful accessories. Not high-end audiophile, but far better than expected.
I was fairly pleased with these headphones. For the price, the sound is good. The headpiece fits well, and my head is on the small side, so sometimes that's a problem. Next time I might spend the extra money and go for the headphones that tune out outside noise (such as a TV or conversation), but again, for the money, I'm pretty happy with them.
The best under $40.00 headphones I believe someone can purchase. Are actually $150.00 headphones selling for under $40.00. Philips is no longer producing these headphones, so pick up a pair if your looking for a $40.00 pair of headphones. I can't recommend them highly enough. Great Rock headphones, but they work with all genres of music even classical. Loved them so much that I purchased a second pair.
The product alone is a great deal, but with shipping and efficiency I believe that I almost made money buying this product.
THESE EARPHONES ARE VERY COMFORTABLE AND EASY TO WEAR. HOWEVER, ONE CAN HEAR ALL NOISES AROUND. GOOD FOR QUIET PLACES.
I was totally surprised at the quality of the sound from these headphones. I hardly know they are on my head except for how warm my ears get after I have used for several minutes. My wife is happy since she doesn't have to listen to what I have downloaded or to the DVD I am running.
I purchased this item because I needed headphones to use on my i-pod (I have problems with the headphones that go in your ear because they are too big.) It works well, the padding on the headphones are great, and your ears do not feel like they are being squashed. The sound is good and I didn't hear background noise. I would recommend them to others.
very good clarity-very bulky-not efficiently portable -headset has a speaker in the earphone so not good if you are with people who are in the room- this was for a 21 year old and they were not "cool" enough for his life style-very comfortable but alot of bands going across in order to accomplish this but for the money if this is an arm chair endeavor -go for it
These phones are an exceptional value, as they can compete with headphones in the $150-200 range. Incredible sound stage, thumping bass, and they fit perfectly. I was worried that it would take a lot of juice to power, but it's efficient enough to work with my ipod and minidisc players. I actually have to turn the volume down!If you're in the market for headphones, don't pass these up.
The headphones are very comfortable and great sounding. They don't appear to adjust for small heads and are a little bulky for taking on the go. Great for home use though!
I bought these for my son and haven't heard any complaints. He did say the sound was incredible and he loves the cushioned earpieces - they are very comfortable.
Very good quality at a great price. I'm a budding producer so these let me hear minute details. I'm also a performing musician. Maybe it's the open-ear design, but these sound like you're in the middle of the music in a really good room.
