Philips Fidelio DS3000 Desktop Speaker Dock for iPod/iPhone (Refurbished)

I bought this year's ago and liked it so much, I bought another one recently. Both work great and are very easy to use. They quickly recharge my iphone and ipod and play a very nice sound. Small and convenient.

This was a birthday gift for my daughter. It worked right out of the, the sound quality is good+, and she set it up herself. The design is so cool, all the girls at the party wanted one even though it's gray, not a girly color. So, if still available....get it!

Very surprised that this little oval speaker puts out the sound it does. The bass is pretty good and the sound is decent. Granted, it's not Bose but for the price you can't beat it--in fact I saw the same model at an electronics retailer for over $30 more! The Philips app that is recommended when you put your iphone into the doc is nifty. Lots of radio stations offered up and other options to enhance your use of the speaker. I actually used that app more than playing the music on my phone. What keeps me from saying this is an "excellent" product is the fact that it is refurbished. The battery compartment door has a missing hinge and I can't get batteries to make the darn thing work so I have to use the cord. I should have returned it for a replacement but this is not my main sound system. I only use it at the beach house where it's plugged into an outlet. Your experience with the quality of the speaker will probably differ and most likely will be better. But the overall sound is quite good which is the key thing for me and I do recommend it.
