Great for therapeutic listening. It has random selection and automatic repeat, which can run at the same time, which is a must. Very sturdy, we drop them quiet often and they hold up very well.

Pros: Great value, well built, easy to operate (with both touch screen and wired remote), good sound quality.Cons: Thicker due to the touch screen, which is not necessary at all. Like most other players, volume control is push button, not the convenient thumbwheel.

While this product, Phillips portable MP3 player, is outdated by the various ipods it is an ideal product to use with speakers and 110v power source as it is an excellent mp3 player. The two AA battery internal power for portable use is questionable. I bought 4 for use as gifts. Love Jim
