The player sent to me was not multi-region. The whole point in getting this was so that I could play DVDs from other areas. Very easy to set up - less than 30 seconds. But it did not recognize the disc. Now, I have to pay return shipping and have been informed that the decision of how much money to refund will be made after inspection of the player. So I might not get my money back and the product was not as promised. All in all, very disappointing. This was my first time to use Overstock.com... Probably my last.

The Philips Multi-Region DVD player is awesome. It's extremely functional and plays all of the DVD's I have with other country codes. The product is great and arrived promptly with no damage what so ever. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase from Overstock and plan on buying more products from Overstock in the future.

I received this DVD player, some days after the order.One necessary wire was missing and the lid never closed properly.It shows "open" on the screen of the TV, because the lid doesnt close and never played the first DVD.Very bad quality. I'm returning this thing.
