Great Buy
I've purchased a refurbished Philips' product from O in the past so I was hopeful that I would have no worries about purchasing another. The sound is awesome for a clock radio, we had a similar IPOD alarm clock which after a year the IPOD adaptor stopped working and it would frequently loose time for whatever reason, sad part about it we had 2 of these and both had issues. So I searched for another one of course O never lets me down. I just pray the IPOD adaptor does not go out in a year (smile) so I purchased the protection plan also.....The BEST FEATURE for me was I didn't have to set the clock manually, once I connected my IPOD touch to it the clock set automatically, LOVE IT. My hubby and I do have to get use to the increase in sound as it wakes you up but when you set the alarm you can adjust the sound to the level you prefer. So far really great buy.

Good radio
I am happy with this purchase. It was a refurbed product but it looks and plays like a new one. When I bought it I didn't realize it was FM only and no AM. I would conslder buying a refurbed product in the future based on my experience with this product.

This product has great sound. Other reviewers mentioned the clock was hard to read in certain lighting and that is true, In the dark it is fine but during the day it is very difficult to see. I had read other reviews before purchasing and since sound quality was my main concern I am happy with the purchase.
