Mediocre product
This isn't a bad product it's just mediocre.The tuner section is poor, stations that come in strong on my other radios are weak and the tuning wheel is very small so that you may need a magnifying glass to see the numbers. Docking the iPod can be tricky If your iPod has a cover you may have to remove it to insert it into the little cradle and because of the angle of the swing out cradle connecting can be nerve wracking at first. The price was attractive and the sound from the iPod isn't bad (not great). I haven't tried the CD player yet and I haven't used it with batteries so far. All things considered I'm not unhappy about this purchase, I use it to keep me company around the house while I do chores, mostly listening to podcast and music.

Nice lil' stereo
The Philips DC1010 is a nice little boom box. It looks nice & has faily decent sound considering its size & price.

The Philips DC1010 is not a bad product, however it looks and feels cheaply made. It does all the functions it claims but that's it. Works fine.

Par for the course
I received a refurbished unit, packaged in bubble wrap. The boombox was undamaged. Features that I like: Sound is on par for a low end boombox. It works for me. Ipod mount works with the box's controls to advance/play etc. Size is small and tidy Its easy to switch between CD and Ipod etc. Features that I didn't care for: Analog AM/FM tuner wheel is tiny and hard to read AM reception is all but non-existent FM tuner is rough and the numbers on the tuning wheel are off The Ipod dock has no dust cover Summary: I'm satisfied with what I received for my money and as long as you don't expect too much from this unit, you'll be happy with it. Shipping and ordering from Overstock was easy and fast with good tracking info provided.
