Yes or no I would recommen the product to a friend it depends. I am a little bit disappointed about the remote control feature. It simply does not work. But for the price and audio quality I would say it's good. If I want to buy one again I would pay more and get a really good one.

Had to return it

Through my own fault, I had to return this item. I hadn't realized it was an ear phone only CD player. I had purchased it for my mother who is 87 and ear phones are not convenient for her use. Otherwise, there were no problems with it that I could see.

Good buy

I constantly listen to recorded books, so every other year or so my portable CD player wears out. It gets lots of use & this one is a good one. It's hard to find CD players just for listening...don't need all the "bells & whistles". I would definitely recommend it to a friend. In fact I've given a similiar one to a friend...also purchased from Overstock.

Takes a lickin'

I gave this to my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas and it has been dropped, pulled, snatched and basically beaten to a pulp by she and her siblings since. It is still going strong....and not skipping. I gave it an average rating for audio because I haven't used it myself.

good player, but volume too loud

This cd player works well, but the volume is too loud. I like to use it as I fall asleep, and it cannot be turned down quiet enough not to keep startling me awake. My player is refurbished, so this might be the problem. It would be fine if you normally used it during the day at regular volume.

For the price, player OK. Arm band does not allow for easy access to controls. Remote doesn't always work, but doesn't skip during incidental jarring.

Great CD player!

After reading the reviews on this CD player, I wondered if it was really as good as others said. I bought it anyway and took it on a trip to Africa. Well, it is a great player - NO SKIPPING! and a great value in my estimation! Thanks!
