Yes or no I would recommen the product to a friend it depends. I am a little bit disappointed about the remote control feature. It simply does not work. But for the price and audio quality I would say it's good. If I want to buy one again I would pay more and get a really good one.
Through my own fault, I had to return this item. I hadn't realized it was an ear phone only CD player.
I had purchased it for my mother who is 87 and ear phones are not convenient for her use.
Otherwise, there were no problems with it that I could see.
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? Few times a year
I constantly listen to recorded books, so every other year or so my portable CD player wears out. It gets lots of use & this one is a good one. It's hard to find CD players just for listening...don't need all the "bells & whistles". I would definitely recommend it to a friend. In fact I've given a similiar one to a friend...also purchased from Overstock.
I gave this to my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas and it has been dropped, pulled, snatched and basically beaten to a pulp by she and her siblings since. It is still going strong....and not skipping. I gave it an average rating for audio because I haven't used it myself.
