I gave the CD Player as a gift to a co-worker. I was quite embarrassed. The outer packaging said that it ran on 2 AAA batteries. I gave her the 2 batteries with the CD player. When she opened the CD Player, it ran on 2 AA batteries. When she put in the correct batteries, the battery cover did not fit.

This cd player has proved to be a great purchase from the start. However, there were several little scratches on it when I got it, and the shipping took forever. But overall, a great product.

I would not buy this again ever, it came extra scratched, they said refurbished but should be USED and refurbished. The price was way too high for something old and mistreated like this. Yes, it does work with most CD's, but it turns off easily if there is a little scratch. Next time I would pay a bit more and get something new. I read the reviews saying sometimes it didn't work well, I should have listened to it!!!

I am Overstock customer for long time now, I had very good experiences with the Items that I bought before, but with this last Item, I was sooo disapointed. The Quality of this Portable CD is "REALLY POOR". The first one that Overstock send me was broken, audio just in one of the sides of the headphones, and with the Serial number totally scratch off . The second one came the same, "THE SERIAL NUMBER SCRATCH OFF AGAIN". and very poor quality of sound.

The product says you can use either AA or AAA batteries, but the compartment won't let you cover the batteries if you use AA's. The compartment is not large enough to hold the batteries. AAA batteries wear out faster and aren't as common to find in most households.

I haven't ordered from Overstock.com before and thought to give it a try with an inexpensive item. But I must say I was disappointed with the personal CD player that I'd purchased. The unit works, but the exterior was scratched, slightly dented, and the main hinge feel slightly loose; I guess I didn't realize that I had ordered somethig that was refurbished. Being refurbished was still alright if it had look and felt better. Disappointed truely.

I had no issues with this product very good quality and my father who is not technologically savy to say the least is able to use it without problems.

Easy to use. Was concerned about being refurbished but it works well on a daily basis.

This was purchased for my 8yr old grandaughter. She was able to work the machine with ease. Her favorite feature was that she could jump off of things, jump up and down, and dance while listening without any skips. She really likes the remote control that came with it. The player continues to be her favorite Christmas gift.

I gave this to my kids I bought 2 it had even more then I expected they love them. The carring case that you can wear was a real bonus.

I purchased this cd player a few months ago, now it doen't play at all, it only says "HOLD".

I have pirchased this product as a gift for my 12 years old niece and she fell in love with it. but later, I felt so bad when a day later she called me to say that it's not working, i went to her house to see the problem because she was very sad for that, and guess whatb the problem was? the battaries do not work more than 3 hours. this product is basically consuming battaries like crazy, and that was even written on the catalog. CHEAP.

Received the cd player and tried to put it together only to find out that the battery cover is for triple A batteries, and the case is for DOUBLE A batteries! I returned it, got another - which had the same problem. Return No. 2. So, no CD player to date - 6 weeks later!
