...the Overstock review says 75 hours (one big reason I bought this unit), so I REALLY would like this clarified. Owner's manual states a 20 hour max battery life (which is typical) - when you turn the ESP off. Good news: you actually can do that, it still can rarely be made to skip in normal usage. CONS: it does not come with the clip the manual mentions included, which would be great to use while walking around. PROS: the sound quality & volume choices are fine. I listen to Hard Rock, Big Band, Classical, and Alt Rock - all sound great. A big plus: when you turn the unit off completely & then turn it back on again, it starts where you turned it off. Very convenient not having to spend all that time & battery power searching forward. On a 'girly' aesthetics note, it is much better looking than the picture online - it is silver with a 3D bubble-like bright blue face, and orange graphics - very cool looking. All-in-all, a good value for the money.
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? First time
I bought this for use on my treadmill so I can listen to books on tape. The sound is horrible. It does not get very loud and the connection from the earphones to the cd player is not good so you get static, or it cuts on and off.
