I purchased this for my 10-y.o. daughter who had a 15.00 CD player that worked marginally well, and skipped constantly upon the slightest movement. The player finally died and I found this model, refurbished, for a very reasonable price. The unit looks brand new. The sound quality is excellent, and she loves the headphones. If you are tired of buying the cheapie off the rack, I highly recommend this unit. The radio is also a big plus.

I purchased this cd player as a gift. I have bought refurbished items in the past and have been satisfied but this experience was very different. The item came in an opened package. Upon inspection, the outside of the cd player was scratched. Frequently the headphone connection is not good. The sound will only play in one earpiece at a time until you tape it to get the connection again. Also the volume is very low. Even at its highest, its not very loud. I was embarrased to give this as a present and would not purchase it again.

The product was exactly as described and works nicely. It came with items I didn't expect either. It was a very good deal for me.

I WAS RELYING ON NAME BRAND FOR MY PURCHASE. SOUND REPRODUCTION AND RADIO RECEPTION. I LIVE IN A LOW RADIO RECEPTION AREA. THIS IS GREAT.

Although I purchased a refurbished product, I was very disappointed in what arrived. The headphones were falling apart, and there was no clip on the back. To Overstocks credit, I did call them and they are replacing both parts. I have received the new headphone, waiting for the clip. The sound on the CD player is fine, as far as what I want it for and the price was right. Again I am happy with overstock, just a little surprised at the condition of the item.
