I'd give this clock radio a perfect 5/5 if it wasn't for one minor thing... IT TURNS ON WHEN I USE MY TV REMOTE! The sound quality is excellent, there are plenty of different functions and options, the radio works great, everything about this clock radio is perfect for me. But when I lower the volume on my TV with my TV remote, the radio sometimes randomly turns on. I know it has to do with the iPod radio and cable remote having similar signals, but this is extremely frustrating, especially when you're not expecting it. I'm contemplating getting rid of a great clock radio because of it. Other than that, the alarm is a bit lackluster, but since the docking station is compatible with the iPhone 4, I don't have to use the standard beeping alarm.

I usually don't go with Phillips but haven't had much trouble with refurbished products in the past. Their QC program must be non-existant. I had to return a broken product not once, but TWICE! The first time the digital clock was out (a monkey could see it wasn't working and somehow this thing got through Phillips' QC?) and the second time the charger didn't work (just plug something into it and see if it charges). Overall, the product is awful. I'll personally stay away from Phillips from now on. Silverlining - Overstock was awesome on the customer service. Great job! And just for that, I'll be back to you guys for business in the future (though it won't be for Phillips or refurbished products).

I gave this ipod dock alarm to my sister as a gift and she said she loved it. I didnt give it a five because I didnt get to see it, hear it or use it. I am going by what she said.

Good sound, ipod sounded great. Nice features include syncing with mp3 player and remote. A gift certificate made this purchase more amiable

As someone else mentioned, the TV remote affects this device turning it on and off, etc. A little upset that I received a device that has noticeable, physical damage to it. The plastic piece that wraps around the base of the device and covers the clock has several scuff marks. Not sure why I would be sent something that has these very apparent marks all over...???

Great product for the price, didn't have any problems with it and it was very well wrapped. A lil dirty but took care of that just by wiping it down a bit.

I thought this was a great way to get a good quality sound system at a good price. It has great sound...alot of base that I haven't figured out how to tone down, but the readio on it works wonderful....good reception....so great sound overall!

Even though this product is refurbished, it works awesome! The sound is great that comes out and the quality of the product is great! The only issue I have with it is the connecting part for the phone or ipod. It swivels, which I didn't know it would. It works great and I haven't had issues with it, it's just a weird thing I would rather not have move. But other than that, it's a great product and I'm happy I own it!

Second Item shipped first was broke exchanged but didn't have any left so chose this and remote is broke bad inspection of reutrns or refurbished.

This unit is less clunky than many other competing products and the speakers sound very full with significant bass response. Excellent value.

Bought for my daughter for the holidays. It was just what she'd asked for (clock with iPhone dock/charger). I'd tested it out at Best Buy but couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money. I was very surprised that the model I liked the most was the one at sale here on O.co!! I bought it. She loves it. Great product. Better sound than many at this price point. SInce it was refurbished, I got the extended warranty and still came in about *** under buying it at the local big box store.

Opened the box and was very surprised by sound quality. It got good reviews and said best bang for buck and was correct. The bass the little thing puts out is pretty awesome and I was about to buy the bose instead but ended up getting this one and was very satisfied.

Excellent radio, good features, easy to use. Only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's difficult to get the ipod onto the dock—the plug is spring loaded and has to be pried out to insert the device. Still worth it, but annoying it's not easier to dock.

This is a very nice ipod docking station and clock/radio combo for the price. Took a chance on refurbished and it worked out well. The Sound is deep with plenty of bass (although some might think too much) and sounds great at fairly high volume. Works very well with iphone and the remote has good range. The alarm when on music gets louder as you leave it on, so you wake up gradually. The only problem is if you don't hit the volume it will get very loud. That is my only complaint. All in, this is a very good unit for the price and would recommend for bedroom or any other small room.

I was looking for a new docking station that would allow me to keep my iPhone (4) in its OtterBox case while playing/charging. My current Altec Lansing does not charge either the iPod Touch or iPhones. So I was very excited to read that this unit charges the phones while in cases. Yes, you can absolutely charge your iPhone while in an OtterBox no problem (I have the Commuter case). It's a bit tricky at first to get it into place, but it's very securely attached once it's on. And then I played it. The sound was dismal at best. It was very "empty" sounding regardless of which equalizer setting I put it on. I tried it playing thru my iPhone, through an iPod, and also connected to my computer to go through iTunes all with the same sounds. So it wasn't the device playing the music. Also, there was a distinct rattling sound when anything resembling a bass beat would "thump". And that was on a low volume setting. It got worse as the volume increased. After using the unit for less than 5 minutes, I packed it back up in the box and shipped it back. Overall a disappointing purchase.

This was a gift for my wife for Christmas, I started to buy a Bose Dock but decided against it since I knew she would leave it in the bathroom... So in short, I opted for a cheaper gift because I knew it would be covered in hairspray anyway... I was blown away with the clarity and bass that this thing puts out! As far as it being a refurb unit.... I couldnt tell ( and i checked), and she doesnt know;) Would def reccomend this product to a friend!

Good sound in a compact design. Works great with iPhone 4. Don't use it as alarm clock so can't comment on how that works. I do like that clock syncs with phone time when it's plugged in.
