Love the bTV, and most things about it. However, and this may be a satellite issue, but every now and then the sound changes to a loud, high-pitched screach that even scares the dog. The only way I have found to get normal sound back is to shut the TV off and turn it back on. It occurs during both live and DVR-recorded playback, so I don't know what causes it. Happens every few days.
We were very happy with this purchase. The picture is very clear. We did have an issue with the sound but after speaking with a customer rep we were able to resolve the problem. We would certainly recommend this item.
This shipment arrived at the exact day as it was scheduled.My son was able to install this unit in my cabinet on Sunday.The unit arrived without a single scratch. We are very pleased with this TV. The picture quality, vibrant colors & sharpness is very good, as is the audio quality. Also, purchasing through Overstock.com was a smooth & easy process. The TV is also a very attractive piece of furniture & fits very nicely in our living room. The only 1 thing I am not completely happy with is that it takes longer than I would like for the channels to change, when using the remote. This may not be a TV issue, it may be our cable system, however. Nevertheless, we really like the TV & I highly recommend this set. We are really enjoying it!!!
