I bout this TV as "refurbished" so I new there would be a chance of something going wrong. Sure enough there is a vertical line 1/8 wide going from top to bottom on my screen. Fortunately there is a 90 Warranty service...however it's been an absolute nightmare. The Phillips recommended service center said it was a panel issue. Phillips will not authorize service...or just won't call the service center back and therefore they will not fix my TV. When I talk to the reps, they take my info, state they will call me back and never do. This is been going on for about 3-weeks. Would not buy refurbished again...not worth the hassle.

My wife and I purchased this tv to put on wall in our living room. It is a wonderful tv. I was able to start up easily and have had nothing but good coments on it. This is a great tv and has a wonderful look.

I've had this TV for a while now and I absolutely love it. The 4 HDMI Inputs are plenty, making my Movies and Games look their best. My old TV only had 1 HDMI, which made me have to choose between the cable box and my Playstation 3. The TV has a nice sleek look to it and looks great on my wall. The built in speakers on the television sound great - I think they sound better than my home theater speakers!

I really like my new TV. I can not believe it is a refurbished TV. I was a bit concern when I got the item, bottom part of box was about go loose. Even FeDex guy said, "poor packing". And be prepare to have AAA batteries!! It was very easy to install. I didnt notice about sound issues, but I notice about between channel to channel make visual lines...it could be Cable issue?

I ordered this TV and received it within the same week. It was simple to setup, to program, and to use. Great picture, Great sound, Great price, and Great merchant - Overstock.com. Couldn't be happier!

I bough this tv almost 2 months ago and it is a great purchase. It arrived in under a week the set up was easy and the hd picture is superb. If you are looking for a great tv at a great price I say go for it!

I've had this T.V. for a bit over a week. It looks great. It works great. Maybe not quite as intuitive to operate as others I've owned (with fewer features). Then again, I have yet to crack open the instruction booklet, so intuitive enough. Picture is excellent. The DirecTV guys couldn't stop remarking on the picture quality. I don't have it hooked up to HD yet, but I'm very much looking forward to that. I hung the TV on the wall with a Sanus Visionmount (tilting) and had no trouble with the screws provided fitting the TV. Lastly, I see no indication that this refurbished TV is of lesser quality than one shipped directly from the manufacturer. No scratches anywhere even. A great TV especially for the price.

I should have shopped around more- price was much cheaper at big box store for brand new model.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. sound board had to be replaced very quickly, luckily it was under warrantee. Repair guy said happens frequently with this model

This tv has awesome picture quality & sound. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice, big tv that doesn't take up much space but looks awesome.

After reading all of the reviews, I decided to go ahead and get the refurbished television. The TV was shipped quickly. I get the TV home and open up the box, everything looked fine, plugged the TV up and heard Nick Jr. playing but I could not see anything. I read the instructions and decided to use the source button to see if the video would come in. Nothing. I hooked the DVD player up and still nothing but audio. I spoke with ?O? and was told that they can exchange the TV but I had a 90 day warranty with Philips and should call them to see if there is anything else that could be done. I called Philips and was told that they had a lot of issues with the 2008 model of this TV and that I would receive another one. After sending in my receipt from Overstock.com, I was told to call back in about 24 hours. I called back and was told that they may have to just refund my money because there are no more TVs in stock for this particular model. From now on, I will make sure I go to the store and get my Television. It will not be as much hassle as I am going through now. The 1 thing that was good is that they customer service was outstanding but the product was horrible.

The unit I received had a bunch of scratches in it which bummed me out. Especially after reading the other reviews that people had written where the TV arrived in perfect condition. Oh well.The only weird thing that happens with this is if the Aspect Ratio is set to automatic it sometimes takes 2.35:1 movies and bounces back between letterbox and no letterbox - like it can't tell what aspect ratio it's supposed to be.Other than that it works fine - have it hooked up to a Philips Home Theater that I bought on this site and they jive pretty well together.

Love the bTV, and most things about it. However, and this may be a satellite issue, but every now and then the sound changes to a loud, high-pitched screach that even scares the dog. The only way I have found to get normal sound back is to shut the TV off and turn it back on. It occurs during both live and DVR-recorded playback, so I don't know what causes it. Happens every few days.

We were very happy with this purchase. The picture is very clear. We did have an issue with the sound but after speaking with a customer rep we were able to resolve the problem. We would certainly recommend this item.

This TV was a steal, arrived on time in perfect condition. It fits the room just right.

We are very pleased with this TV. The picture quality, vibrant colors & sharpness is very good, as is the audio quality. Also, purchasing through Overstock.com was a smooth & easy process. The TV is also a very attractive piece of furniture & fits very nicely in our living room. The only 1 thing I am not completely happy with is that it takes longer than I would like for the channels to change, when using the remote. This may not be a TV issue, it may be our cable system, however. Nevertheless, we really like the TV & I highly recommend this set. We are really enjoying it!!!

Overall I was extremely satisfied with the TV once it arrived; which was much sooner than expected. I expected a refurbished TV to have some sort of blemish, but in turn found none. The quality of the picture and sound rivals that of my fathers $3000 TV of the same size. This TV was an amazing buy for the price and would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice television! I was a bit concerned since it was refurbished, but everything looks and works like brand new. Very nice picture and sound quality, and the setup was very easy. It arrived much sooner than I thought, too. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting an exceptional flat screen TV at a discounted price.

I was told not to buy a refurbished TV, but since my last sony of only 2 years died out of nowhere i decided not to invest too much into a TV. I was shocked at how well it looks and sounds. I have had it now for a about two months and so far, no problems!

This item was shipped and received by me well ahead of its expected arrival. It was placed in use and operated without any problems. Like everthing I have ordered from Overstock i am very much pleased with this product. The HD is great.
