The clarification on this tv is great. We have had no probelms with this tv at all. It makes watching our old tv's difficult. My plan is to update all the tv's in our house.
I received my tv fed ex just three days after ordering. It was taken out of the box, inspected (small ding on the top left corner) and mounted. Our first movie played on it the credits were pixilized which made me nervous but the movie was fine and I didn't notice throughout. Some words and commercials also have that pixle appearance but it is so rare it is hardly noticable. For the money, I got the warrenty just because it is a large expensive tv and I have heard of them going out for no reason, new or refurbished.

It has been over three weeks since I received my TV and i still have no idea what the picture looks like. The day I took it out of the box it did not work and has been at the repair shop ever since. The repair shop has ordered several different parts and can still not resolve the problem. Philips' customer service offered no help nor any apologies. They simply said it was under warranty and would send someone out to fix it. Well, I'm still waiting and getting more frustrated with each passing day.
