My only complaint is that this is a refurbished unit. Nowhere on the webpage does it state that it is refurbished (except in one customer review) But make no mistake...the unit is refurbished. I felt deceived a bit...but nonetheless, the set works great. It is easy to use and gives a great picture. Sound quality is a bit off, but that can be remedied by a decent surround system. Again, best price for the $$

THIS T.V. WAS AN EXCELLENT VALUE AND HAD A GREAT PICTURE. HOWEVER, SMALL THINGS HAD STARTED GOING WRONG WITH IT FROM THE SECOND I GOT IT. INTERMITTENTLY THE SCREEN WOULD FLICKER ON AND OFF WHILE WATCHING. THIS STARTED A MONTH AFTER I GOT IT AND GOT REALLY BAD BEFORE COMPLETELY DYING OUT JUST 13 MONTHS AFTER I PURCHASED IT. ALSO, A YELLOW " HAZE" STARTED SHOWING UP ABOUT 6 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE (RARELY) GOING RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN. THE WARRANTY COMPANY FINALLY DEEMED IT "UNFIXABLE" AFTER A MONTH OF LEAVING IT DEAD AND BROKEN IN MY LIVING ROOM. ILL GO FOR A PLASMA NEXT TIME......

Beware the first day i had it the tv's screen would flicker on and off. not worth your time. called phillips the 90 day limited warranty would not cover the tv, so today i am sending it back to overstock. overall this has made my shopping experiance here questionable.

The unit has a number of bad habits. It turns on at will. The unit changes av settings and channels fairly often on it's own. It has a fair picture quality and is attractive in appearance. I do not think this unit was checked out for any reasonable length of time because these problems developed from the start of usage.

There's a history of electronic problems with these. Ours (a new one, not refurbished) was great until it had a major failure after a year of use. Manufacturer wouldn't address it even though it's obvious the problem was due to manufacturing defect. I'm not a warrranty fan, but get the extended warranty on this product!

I was a little hesitant to purchase a "reconditioned" TV, but this was such a good price, I couldn't resist, and I have had nothing but good luck with another reconditioned item I purchased from Overstock. It arrived in record time, and was set up in no time. This is a great value, pictures in HD are awesome.

The 37" Phillips is the best bargain imagineable. My husband and I purchased a 32" Magnavox a week before we purchased the Phillips. The amazing thing is that the Phillips was $1.00 less than the Magnavox (Protection plans included). The difference is that the 37" has PIP, 2 MDI ports and so much more than the Magnavox.

it arrived in a timely manner and so far has shown a good quality picture. the features are really simple to work. i would recommend this to anyone.

On deciding to upgrade to an HDTV, I checked out Overstock and found this; it seemed like a really good deal, and it arrived two or three weeks ago. I've been very impressed by it...it displays everything I hook up to it, from Wii to DVD player to PS3, beautifully using component/HDMI, and I find myself using certain features of the TV that I didn't even think I'd use (such as the automatic detection of widescreen vs. standard image, and zooming in/out to fit it all on screen). The one thing I haven't really tried yet is conventional TV - there's almost no antenna reception here, and I don't have cable, though I really want to get digital now. However, I don't imagine the image quality for that will be any less good. So I'd definitely recommend this to those looking for a really nice HDTV for much less money than you'd normally pay for the quality.

It has been over three weeks since I received my TV and i still have no idea what the picture looks like. The day I took it out of the box it did not work and has been at the repair shop ever since. The repair shop has ordered several different parts and can still not resolve the problem. Philips' customer service offered no help nor any apologies. They simply said it was under warranty and would send someone out to fix it. Well, I'm still waiting and getting more frustrated with each passing day.

This was my first purchase from Overstock.com I was somewhat hesitant to purchase a "refurbished" product.You cannot tell it is a refurbished product. Every thing about the tv is exactly what I was expecting. I just love it ! I watch alot of sports and movies and it is the best. Thank you

After my $2,000 Sony HDTV bit the dust at the tender age of 3 years, I decided to try a refurb. I've been having very good luck with refurbs so based on the reviews, I thought I'd give this one a try. So far so good. Everything worked well out of the box. I have an excellent picture and it was easy to hook up to my home theater system, adjust the picture, sound, and other things I don't even understand. I did get an HDMi cable for it and that made the picture even better. It even sounds good with it's own speakers, which is how I watch the occasional videotape. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this lasts more than the 2-yr warranty, but if not, at least I don't have $2,000 into it.

The speakers sounded busted the very first time it was turned on. Have to keep volume way down low to understand and then hope you can hear it

The clarification on this tv is great. We have had no probelms with this tv at all. It makes watching our old tv's difficult. My plan is to update all the tv's in our house.

I received my tv fed ex just three days after ordering. It was taken out of the box, inspected (small ding on the top left corner) and mounted. Our first movie played on it the credits were pixilized which made me nervous but the movie was fine and I didn't notice throughout. Some words and commercials also have that pixle appearance but it is so rare it is hardly noticable. For the money, I got the warrenty just because it is a large expensive tv and I have heard of them going out for no reason, new or refurbished.

I love this tv and the price was unbeatable plus it looks very nice in my den I recommend to any one looking to buy a nice tv for a small price I love it thanks overstock............

Super price and it looks likie a fantastic picture so far. Big risk purchasing a large fragile electronic item (also rebuilt) through the internet so we bought the extra warranty too. (Figured it was still such a good price.) Hope we don't have to use it. We did need some help setting it up, there are so many connections with the HD.

The TV picture is great. I was worried because it is a refurbished, but we are so happy with this TV. This was a great buy for the money. We have it on the wall in the bedroom and it is perfect. We purchased a tilting wall mount unit from Overstock and are equally please with it as well.

warranty is going to cover the repair but it has taken me 3 weeks with no tv!

Product has performed well for a month and has a great picture. I don't care too much for the speakers being mounted on the ends with table mounting.
