Overall product is fine. Remote did not work upon arrival. Had to call and order new remote.

I purchased this tv specifically because it is both a monitor and a tv. The tv is great, but to use it as a monitor you must have a DVI-I to VGA cable which is not included. I spent over $100 on adapters and/or cables that were supposedly correct before I found the right one on the internet and then it was 10 ft long (good luck finding a shorter one.) I'm only disappointed that this tv ended up costing $130 more just to use it as a monitor for my PC, but once I found the right cable the connections were a breeze. Do not use an adapter, there is not enough room to plug it into the port on the back! You MUST have the proper cable. Learn from my mistakes!

I bought this as a gift for my finance thinking this was a great price for a tv . I looked all over searching to see if it was analog.. because they will be out of date in a year or so.. could not find it listed anywhere... when the box came HUGE print on the box said... Analog TV... which is ok now... I opened up the box and it said thank for buying a refurbished Phillips... had no idea i was buying a refurbished TV otherwise i would not of purchased.... overall felt VERY in the dark with this product
