its a great player... plays file from avi player but the only thing that i don't like is the remote control. It does not have a USB button which mentioned in the manual but not available in the remote..
I am very pleased with this player. I wanted something simple and easy to use and this player meets all of my qualifications. I've only played about 25 movies on it, but so far it's been great.
This is a great DVD player. It pairs well with my 42" Magnavox LCD. If the TV is not on then it will turn it on once you put the DVD in and if the TV is on, it will switch to that input. Maybe this is standard now, but I have never seen one do that. The resolution is great at 1080p. I have been thoroughly happy with the quality and value.
The DVD player got here very quickly and my husband set it up without even opening the manual (although, he has tried to put together furniture without the manual as well.)
At any rate, it is well worth the money we spent, and when you are watching a budget, refurbished is a nice alternative to buying new. The quality is amazing. We are very pleased!
