I bought this scanner with some gift cards for use at the office. I've only used it a few times thus far, but have found it to be quite helpful. I actually bought it over others because of the Pentax name. I have found the scans to be quite good. I was expecting this unit to be a little slow but it has been quite nice so far. I am not disappointed and in fact, have been quite pleased. I would recommend this portable scanner to anyone needing portability and basic quality. If you really need a high quality scan, you simply have to go with a higher priced scanner. This works really well for the task for which it was designed.
