I bought this after receiving a 42" Panasonic Viera (plasma) for Christmas. I ordered this from Overstock, and it was delivered a lot quicker than I had expected. Installation is a piece of cake -- just get yourself a socket wrench to drive in the lag bolts in the wall. There are plenty of bolts included for mounting the vertical hangers on the TV -- very impressive. For the money, this mounting kit is definitely a value! I had the TV installed within 30 minutes or so. The main problem I ran into was that my wall studs were 20" apart (thanks DR Horton), so after finding one stud, I measured over 16" and drilled a pilot hole. No wood there, so I slid over another 1/2" or so. This kept up until I had a trail of holes in the wall looking for a stud. Yes, I have a stud finder, but I never trust those things... Anyway, after getting the TV in place, I went back a week later and installed an electical outlet and coax adapter behind the TV -- the bracket has nice cutouts to accommodate these. Just be sure if you cut out your drywall that you don't just carve out the dimensions of the mounting cutouts -- they are bigger than the size of an outlet box. Since I have AT&T's U-Verse service, I require a converter box, so I installed a shelf next to the TV to hold it and the Nintendo Wii. If you don't have these, you can get a really clean looking install -- a TV just floating on the wall. The bracket contains some nice safety features, such as a raised lip on the top mounting rail -- that way your TV doesn't slide off if pulled. You actually have to lift the TV up and tilt the bottom out in order to pull it off the rails. There is also a set of safety bolts on the bottom that your can turn up to prevent the TV from tilting out. Another nice safety feature. They incude a very long allen wrench to turn the bolts. Supposedly this is needed for tilting the TV as well. I can turn them, but I can never get this thing to actually tilt the TV. I tried to call the manufacturer for assistance, but no luck in getting through. This is my only complaint about the product. As it turns out, we just use it flat, anyway, and the image looks good even though I had to mount it so that the bottom of the TV is 52" above the floot. We have a couple of toddlers who love to try to pull things down...

This mount came quick and was easy to install. Took maybe half an hour and my lcd was on the wall ready to be watched. Can't go wrong for the price!

Bought this mount for a new 50in plasma that weighs a freakin' ton. The mount was a great price, really easy to put together and was up securely holding the plasma on the wall in no time. The swivel is nice as well.

I bought this for the 37 inch lcd tv I bought and it was a great deal and great price to I looked up the price and it was like 260.00 and overstock was the best price I love it and it makes the tv look great I recommend this product plus easy to install and also fast shipping

one of the first things ive bought on overstock and love it its like having my 42 inch plasma with ambalite turned into the perfict home theater system. its great for the plasmas becuse of how much weight it holds, and the one touch angle ajustment is realy nice too. THE BEST to show off to freinds! LOVE IT ! TOTALY BUY IT YOU WONT REGRET IT.

If you have any concerns with compatibility, go to the peerless website and look up which model supports your TV. It came with a good cross reference chart and had every part needed. The tilting is fantatstic and you can do almost any degree and than lock it in. Assembly was straight forward and what you would expect...good design to get two studs. Great product, highly recommend.

The bar is only 29" long, so make sure the mounting holes on the back of you display are not further than 29" inches apart or this mount will not work. This mount did not work for my 42" Philips plasma. Overstock charges $20 to return the product after shipping and restocking fees, so also beware that even though the specifications say it will work for 95% of the screens up to 55", you're out of luck if you are one of the 5% for which is does not. It's unfortunate that Overstock will lose my future business over this.

This is a great product it came with like 15 sets of screws for all different types of tv's u just pick the one thats yours...total time it took to mount this to the wall and the tv...with it being level was about 45 mins..and it looks great to from all views
