I have had a few mp3 players and this one is the best so far. It comes without the additional applications and software that others have, it is a stripped down, clean mp3 player. The buttons are easy to use and very responsive. I especially like that if I stop in the middle of something, it continues where I left off when I start it again. The battery life far exceeds the other players I have had, using a AA battery. I own one myself and recently bought one for the wife. I highly recommend this player if you want a durable, reliable and easy to use player.

This is very well-designed for visual appeal; it looks expensive, and frequently attracts attention. It doesn't look like an mp3 player; often gets mistaken for a tiny radio! I found it very easy to use, and the sound quality is just what you would expect from Panasonic. Any earphones fit, I find the volume to be excellent, and NO problems whatever synching my music from my computer! I'm pleased with the capacity; I wanted a gadget to allow me to take my music with me, and most of all, to save wear and tear on my cd's, and this certainly does the job ! I recommend this mp3 player to anyone who wants to protect their rare, hard-to-find cd's, who wants ease of operation, who wants a trusted brand name and who gets a kick out of unique, sharp-looking little gadgets! This is small (about the size of a lipstick tube) and lightweight. I gave it as a gift and they commented on how easy it is to use... this is made for anyone that wants SIMPLE. Loading music on it is easy too. It only uses 1 AA battery and it lasts a really long time. It has pre-set EQ settings, random and repeat modes. The screen is basic and easy to read. It is a nice bonus that it is a name brand like Panasonic. If I had to fault anything about it, it would be nice if the kit included a headphone jack to headphone jack cord for connecting to the car or home stereo. For the price, I am very pleased with this player.I bought it for an adult but this is a bargain and simple... a great choice for kids, too.

Received the order on time and works great so far. The sound quality is excellent and works great so far. Unfortunately the panasonic website doesn't seem to have any support information on this product such as the firmware update on this unit which I was looking for. Didn't really need it and the unit works great so far.

Bought this 2gb machine to replace another 2gb mp3 player that died on me. I have been using them to listen to audiobooks, and when I saw the battery life that this one boasted of, I thought I would give it a go. And I can confirm, the battery life is fantastic!!!!!!!!! I have listened to 3 books completely and onto the 4th, a total of at least 30 hours and it is still showing 2 of 3 bars on the battery level. My previous mp3 would need a battery change after about 11 hours, often that wasn't even a whole book.The only thing that would make it better would be better ear plugs... I found they didn't fit my ears very well although are solidly made... I just used my old pair.
