    • Refurbished phone

      I was leary about purchasing a refurb... but it works wonderfully. I also bought the 2 year protection plan which helped ease my concerns. The product did come without the original box, but all parts were like new and worked perfectly. Sound quality on this unit is great. We have it sitting next to the microwave with zero interference. Buttons are big. I like the caller ID display on all units. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't beep when there is a message (at least I didn't see a feature that makes that possible). So we have to remember to check the unit to see. We've missed returning calls for a day because we didn't notice. Otherwise, we really like it!

    • Five Star for sure.

      This phone has made our life easier, we have three extentions in our two story home which in turns saves time and distance answering the phone from either bedroom living room and den. The sound quality is very good and the life of the battries is very good also. the actual operation of the phone is very simple to operateincluding menu,answer recall, message service and all the little things that make a very good phone a great phone. I would deftinately buy this product again.

      I had this for couple of years now and I haven't change the batteries except for one phone. Very clear reception and static free. I would recommend this.

    • Quality control issue

      I knew this is a refurbished product when I bought it, but I thought what I received will at least work. After I received the phones and set them up, one of the handset isn't working. After spending an hour trying different things, taking out battery, swapping charging station etc, I realized the handset itself is not recognizing charge. I ended up having to spend another hour on the phone trying to get it replaced, and the postage to send it to Panasonic. All the while down 1 handset. Also, the only way you can tell that you missed a call is by looking at the screen on the handset, which isn't that obvious.

      We are frequent shoppers of Overstock.com and have again been very pleased by this most recent purchase. Panasonic is a name we know we can trust and the quality of this particular phone system is one that we would recommend to anyone. One issue that our old phone left us with was poor voice clarity. We also had serious problems with losing reception when the handset was taken too far from the receiver. With our new Panasonic, neither of these issues are problems for us any longer. We are very happy. You CANNOT beat Overstock's customer service or shipping/handling charges. I have bought several refurbished items from Overstock.com and each of them have been in perfect working order; just like new.
