Exactly what we wanted... These phones have proven to be a big stress reliever in our home. The caller ID announcement helps us avoid all those STUPID and annoying robo-calls and political solicitations for money. The big buttons and display screen are senior-friendly. Lots of great features available. You do need a bit of tech-savvy to program all these features. Single caveat: we have Smart-Talk on our line, and Smart Talk includes mandatory voice mail -- which kicks in with this set UNLESS you set your rings to less than the Smart Talk trigger for voice mail -- thereby making your message system useless; so set your rings to 4 or less to avoid this. Our first set of cordless GHz phones were ****** and lasted 15 years; hopefully these will be as dependable and durable. These batteries are certainly less costly than ******. Quite satisfied with this product.

I like this set of phones. With all of the features, these seem great. The details can get lost, but searching the manual revealed all that I needed. ie, answer on pick-up, battery back-upon power outage (you need to have a second phone as the base phone IS THE BATTERY backup.

I purchased this phone system from overstock probably more than eight years ago. Thise handsets are dying & need replacement batteries. It is the same cost to buy all new as the cost to replace the batteries so these are replacing that old system that worked really well for eight plus years.
