This handset was as promised and once I found the instructions on how to set it up it has worked like a charm. The information provided to me on how to add it to the system was woefully inadequate. If you accidently hit a button (or assume you can do it without the instructions) you will not be able to use their steps. You have to get it to say OK on the handset display before you can do any programming. To get to OK just press MENU, 0, 0 (zeroes). Then you can follow the manual as OK will show on the display.

The only complaint - but it's a big one - is that 2 of the 4 handsets on my system had their LCD caller ID screens go blank. When it first occurred, I contacted tech support and was told to pull out the handset batteries, push every single button on the handset, then reinstall the batteries. That worked most of the time but it was just a matter of time before the screens went blank again. This is obviously a huge problem for trying to look up stored numbers in the handset phonebook, seeing who's calling in before picking up and even to see whether or not the handset is on or off! Oddly enough, each of the 2 handsets that 'misbehave' occasionally enjoy full function of the LCD screen. Not for long, though (a few days maybe). Luckily for me, the location of the 2 handsets made it not all that critical to have to be operate the phone 'blind' and the 2 handsets that have always worked well are dependable and have great features, which is why I give this model a decently high rating.

Our handset was broken and instead of buying a new phone as we really liked this product we decided to look for a replacement. It was the same manufacturer and was the correct one we needed. It took just a few minutes to pair it up with the base phone.

I needed an additional phone because I left the last one on top of the car and drove away! This came quickly and in new condition. No directions but you can find them online or call panosonic and they will walk you through connecting it with your existing lines. I love this phone. It is a workhorse.

I purchased a Panasonic phone system with 3 handsets, expandable to 4. While I would have liked have expanded to 4 from the start, I did not because of the extremely high price of the additinal handset. One more handset was a huge percenatge of the original puchase price for the entire system. I then saw the offer for a refurbished handset on Overstock.com for a reasonable price. While wary of buying refurbished products, I decided to take a chance in this case, since I refused to pay the price for a new one. Thus far, I could not be happier. Phone works great.

Just for clarification: If you have the KX-TG5671 Base Unit: The KX-TG5671 is not an expandable base unit. This product will only searve as a "Replacement handset" for the base. Although it is advertised as an expansion unit for this base....just be aware of this. the only complaint we had was that the battery would not hold a charge and had to replace the battery that came with the unit. I am guessing that the battery was not tested when refurbished. We have always had good luck with the Panasonic line of phones and this is a good sounding unit with great features.

The phone works great!!! The directions on how to program to your exixting base was not helpful. I needed to go online to the panasonic website.

I purchased the KX-TGA560 handset to add on to our existing KX-TG5633 3pc Panasonic set, which allows for 4 total handsets. The instructions that came with the handset were a bit incomplete, even on Panasonic's website, but after looking back to the original set's manual, adding the handset was a cinch. Very happy with purchase. We could replace an old 900mhz set with this new handset. The 5.8ghz and new 6.0 sets really blow away the the quality of the old portable 2.4ghz and 900mhz sets.

The phone was as advertised and works great for my existing system. My existing phones were all gray and this phone came as black. There was nothing to warn me of the different color. Also the instructions for programming this unit to match the other phones and system was lacking detail. It took a while to program the unit.

This handset completes our needs, the 4th in the set. It's working great and I like all the features. The range should be better with the 5.8 Hz.

The phone and charger are great and looks brand new. The only problem is that the battery doesn't last long like the other connected phones on my system. I would estimate the batteries on the other phones last twice as long or more.

This phone arrived in new condition. After synching to the base it operated as well as the rest of my phones. The only problem I found, was someone stuck a sticker on the phone. I removed it with goo-off.

Got the phones put them on the chargers. After they were removed after a full day of charging the batteries died in 2 hours. I would think it could just be a coincident but they both did the same adsact thing. I have the same phone system and never had this problem.

Ordered this phone as a replacement. My dog chewed my other phone. Works well.

This is the second phone we added to the original two. It is the farthest from the base station but works very well. We have a few cats and these phones get knocked off their bases from time to time. We have yet to break one. This phone was reconditioned but looks new. We are Panasonic fans and this addition is what we expected.
