Very Disappointed
I bought these phones to replace my old Panasonic set. I especially liked my old set because of the privacy feature, which allows you to set your call to private so that no one can pick up & dial or listen in while you're on the phone. This set was advertised as having the privacy feature, but there is none. If I had known that, I absolutely would not have purchased it. No question. If that wasn't bad enough, there are 5 phones, and they are supposed to be pre-numbered 1 through 5, so that you can ring each phone from any other. Problem: my set is numbered 1 through 4, and there is a 2nd phone numbered 4. Only one 4 will work at a time. So, I paid for 5 working handsets, but I only got 4. So, no privacy feature, and defective items = I wouldn't buy it again. Very disappointed.

excellent phone system
This is the third one of these phone systems I have purchased. We gave two of them to our children as gifts and they like them as much as we do. The callers name is announced when the phone rings which is a nice touch. As usual the shipping and service from overstock was great.
