great phone system and Overstock's refurb price is great compared to buying a new system. I bought the extended 2 yr warranty and it was still far less than buying new. You can't tell that it's refurbed, looks brand new. Overall the sound quality is very good, nice display, great features such a call blocking, intercom, automatic update to all other units when you enter a name and number and the voice caller ID. The caller ID sounds funny, but it has provided some entertainment when it butchers an otherwise fairly straight forward name, but it gets the job done and we don't have to leave what we are doing if the phone is in the other room. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a DECT 6.0 phone system and would suggest buying refurb as opposed to new, just due to the cost difference and the quality of the refurb.

We had worn out our old Panasonic KX-TG1031S phones and needed a replacement that was good quality at a good price. These came quickly, were packed extremely well, and instructions for setup made it quick & painless. These phones looked to be in perfect shape (you couldn't tell they had been refurbished), but I waited a while to do the review to make sure there were no issues. They work great, and the price was excellent. I have phones all over the house now. Love the features of the talking Caller ID, and also being able to update the phone book from any phone and have it update all phones. Love it! I'm really happy with this purchase.

We're very happy with these phones. It was a good value for the price and has many handy features including the phone book, the voice-mail set up, the talking caller-id, and the ability to assign ring tones. We only have 3 of the 4 set up in our (rather small) apartment, but they are serving us fine. We have not had any interference with our wireless internet or other wireless devices either (which I have heard can be a problem with too many wireless things in a home). The reception has always been clear and the battery seems to last (we generally keep them on the base though, as we have three set up around the house so it is not too difficult to do so). Overall, I'm very happy with these phones and they were a very good price for the number of phones and the quality that they are.

Purchased the Panasonic KX-TG6434T DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone System to replace a system I already had. So far, so good. The phones do what they say they will. My husband was a little uncomfortable about getting a refurbished phone thinking they might not look as good or be of good quality. He had no reason to worry. The phones look brand new, as a matter of fact I do not think they had ever been used. I am not sure why they were labled as refurbished. The phones are just great. They are lighter in weight than our last ones and they are so much more modern. These have a sleeker design and they speak to you. When someone calls the phone tells you who it is. I did comparison shopping and found this was the cheapest I could find. So, if you are on the fence about getting this phone system, do not worry. Over 500 people could not be wrong. Do like I did. Read the reviews and make your choice on what others are saying. If you notice it has a high rating and there are only a few who had something negative to say. But, you have to realize there are some people who are never satisfied.

.These phones are great. The range is such that we can use them quite far from the house and the battery lasts a VERY long time. The sound is very clear.I can't discuss the answering machine portion because we don't use it. We already had a phone answering machine we liked. I just got these to supplement our current system.

This phone system was better than I expected. The voice announcement caller ID is an extra added feature; you do not have to pick up the phone to determine who is calling. It is better than TV caller ID because you can identify who is calling no matter what you are doing. This is a slim space saving expandable phone system with caller ID, message capacity, and speed dialing features. This is a complete a phone system.

I have previously owned/used Panasonic cordless phone w/answering machine. I don't think this one is as "solid" as the one I owned before. I liked the idea of having the "talking" part when you receive a call, however, it's difficult to understand. Even simple words are not easy to understand. The quality of hearing on the phone is a little difficult, meaning not always clear. This could be a problem if you have any hearing issues. I like that it came with three extensions as we have a large home and now I don't need to run to the phone. I would recommend the system as the price is reasonable and the issues I have are minor, but I don't give it top marks in any category.

As soon as the phone was hooked up it worked ok, but after a day or two we heared a crackling sound Had to leave town for awhile, came back it was louder, not all the time. I guss you get what you pay for. Would not buy again.

I bought two sets, one for home and one for our vacation house. The answering machine is very simple to use. I especially like the intercom and the fact that it announces the name of the caller. This was a good buy!

Hey, you will never get the clarity of a corded phone nor the range touted from any cordless phone manufacturer. But Panasonic does the best job in the field. There is no evidence that these things are "refurbished." More like, "let's put the overstock in a brown box and clear out the warehouse." Do not fret.

I purchased these refurbished phones about 2 1/2 years ago. I literally love these phones. Never had a problem. The batteries have not went out and the quality is superb. I purchased the extended warranty plan just in case, but have not had to use it. The phones came looking brand new. It's great having the extra handsets and this product sold for alot more in the department stores. I'd definitely recommend these phones. Great buy for the money!

The phone does just about everything you could think of. What I like best is when there is a call, its speaker tells you who is calling before you even pick up the phone. I added an extra phone to the set because I have limited mobility, and like to spend time on the porch. So I found that adding another phone to the system was a snap. The phone batteries seems to last for several days. I am really glad to have gotten this phone system for the features as well as the low cost. A great deal for anyone that has need of a home phone system. I might add that I use Vonage (VOIP) and the phone works just great using the Over the Internet Phone system.
