fax function is very poor in quality. It only faxes 10 pages at a time and even if you put 8 pages, it will jam several times. faxing time is very slow. If I had another chance, I would buy other fax machine.

I did a lot of research before selecting this combination fax/phone/answering machine, and have been very happy with it in general. The faxes are clear, the answering machine messages are clear, and the cordless phone works very well for outgoing callsl. The problem is receiving phone calls. After reading every page of the manual and emailing Panasonic for help (they didn't reply), I have been unable to figure out how to adjust the number of rings before the answering machine picks up. So, when I'm home and want to answer the phone, I need to pick up before the second ring or the answering machine message will play. If I ever get this problem taken care of, I'll be happy with the machine. If not, I'll probably end up returning it.

I owned a previous model of this phone/fax/copy machine and it functioned perfectly for years and I loved it. I needed to replace it after my son broke it though, so I bought this model (refurbished from Overstock) and it never faxed more than two pages without the paper getting stuck and needing to be re-faxed. The copier stopped working after about 5 months--the paper would not feed through and the repair bill would have cost more than to buy a new replacement. I am not sure if this model is more prone to problems than the older model or if I bought a refurbished lemon?? When (if) it works, this is a great little machine.

Good product, I don't have any issues of importance. Why only 4 stars for ease of operation? The machine is a two line system, and in my case I am only using one line. The setup takes you though both lines even if you use only one line. Every time I retrieve my messages, it tells me there are no messages on line two.... No big deal, but you should know.... I LOVE the cordless handset, it works great and is clear, the speakerphone on both the base unit and the handset is an important feature for me. I was on hold for over 20 minutes the other day with a company (NOT with Overstock .com) and I just turned on the speaker, placed the phone on my desk and went about my day until they got back to me. The base unit is small and fits nicely on my desk, the ringers are adjustable, the handset antenna lights up with a flashing orange light when the phone rings or if there are messages. I like that I can use plain paper for the fax. There are too many features on the base unit to list them all. In my opinion, this is a great product, I saved lots of money compared to the retail price others were selling this by buying here at Overstock, I am very happy with my purchase!

I have had this for about a month now and I couldnt be happier for the price I paid for it. I needed a new Fax machine bc I work in a profession where I need faxes every night Monday- Saturdays. It prints good and auto-answer is awesome and easy to use. Ringtones are great and has 2 line and you can choose what ringtone for what line you choose.

I love the phone that comes with this. It has 2 lines and I can program each line's ringtone. The antenna lights up when it rings, so I get a nice sound with lights. The fax uses film on rollers and works great. Although I did have a jam problem while faxing 47 pages and had to fax them in separate batches of 10. Faxes are received with no problems. It doesn't take up much room on my desk and I can use the handset throughout the house. Caller ID works great too.

I really like this machine the value was great and the quality and adaptability are both very satisfactory. I am impressed with all the features... although alot it is very easy to set up and use. good choice of ring tones and multi purpose answering service/ fax machine.
