sometimes retractable USB data cable
from San Diefgo ca,  Dec 18, 2008

it is a great idea, and would be a very welcomed addition to my workspace if it did what it was supposed to do. this item has 2 main jobs, 1. connect my Treo to my Computer, and 2.extend/retract when needed. the problem that i have with mine is when i am extending it for use, it doesnt want to "catch" and stay extended,so i end up sitting there, looking like i am playing with a spring, and then when i finally get it to stay extended and am done using it i cant get it to retract... no matter how far i pull it out or how quickly i pull it. its just a pain in the neck trying to get it to do what it is supposed to do. and on top of all that.. it doesnt have a "hot sync" button, i either have to start the software via my computer or via my Treo.
