Otterbox Defender iPhone 3G Black Case

Great price for a solid Otterbox. I admittedly was a little confused with putting it on the IPhone until I realized it was a 2-part case--inner hard shell and soft outer cover. Only negative is that it's kind of hard to switch mute with the side button.

Do not like the air bubble that forms under the screen cover that is virtually impossible to get rid of.

Solid protective case. One problem...the hard plastic inner shell casing is designed in way that prevents you from using a phone charger while the case is over the phone. The head of the charger was too wide for the slot on the shell casing. I had to do some customization. I had to break out a steak knife to saw the plastic end of the plastic case which went around the charger plug on the phone and use a nail file to smooth the rough ends. I don't recommend anyone do this. I was extremely careful in cutting. If you do do this, take the phone out of the case first. With rubber outter covering going over the inner plastic shell, the cutting and filing did not affect the look of the case at all. My 3GS is 2 years old. The case makes it look brand new.
