Purchased a used Dell GX260 Pentium 4 2.0 GHz, 512 ram 80GB HD, DVD RW-Drive, Floppy after my Dell GX280 died. Like the small form factor size case fits nicely on my desk. For those that need older Tech because of the software your running, you'll have no major issues with it if using Windows XP as your operating system. The only major issue I have so far is that when I boot the system and I have a USB multi adapater pluged in with several devices pluged into it, it will not fully boot until I unplug the USB multi adapter. The other issues seem to be keeping proper time and date- not sure if this is a battery problem, or something that inheriant in the motherboard/cpu.If you need a basic computer for Internet and Wordprocessing this computer will more than meet your needs at a good used price.

Purchased this computer for general home computing, emails, web browsing and documents. The 2.26 GHz processor is fast and the hard drive is more than adequate. Memory was on the low side so I installed 2 X 1GB. Now if flys. For the price is was a great purchase.

I purchased this computer in February of 08. Overall this is a very good machine for the money! I was however disappointed with the lack of RAM. Windows XP barely runs on 256MB of Ram. I upgraded the memory to a gig and the machine runs beautifully now. Ended up costing me an additional $50. That being said it's a very good value and I'm happy with my purchase. If you're considering purchasing this product YOU WILL NEED TO UPGRADE THE RAM.

I was shocked when my unit stopped after i started downloading updates from windows. Thanks to dell for the help in getting back up and running.
I tried to reinstall the operating system but to no avail, I had to use my own copy of xp prof. to get it working.
