I bought this as a gift to myself...hahaa....and I absolutely love it. I hate reading through instruction manuals, so this camera was ideal. All I had to do was open up the box and start using it. The on-screen instructions make this camera very easy to operate. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend or family member.

My daughter really loves her camera. she says it takes great pictures,with very good quality. and a really good zoom feature. what we are alittle surprised at,is the low amount of pictures she gets ,out of the memory card that came with the kit. she already has to get a new one.other than that,it is good.

This camera takes some great pictures! I had another model in the same price range before, but the pictures did not turn out so clear and vivid. This camera has settings such as sports, indoor, fireworks, which comes in really handy at times. It's small enough to fit into the purse or your pocket. I am torn about the batteries: the good side of using AA batteries is that one can always take some extra or buy it in any gift shop. My old camera never had the battery charged when I would have liked to use the camera, and I missed many Kodak moments of my kids. Now I just have to grab a set of AA's. But the two batteries add a little of bulk and weight, and you go through the batteries a lot. I have to replace them every other outing, since I view my pictures frequently after taking them to delete some as I go. I will probably be on the market for a charging station and rechargable batteries soon.

Camera screen has colored lines all over it making the camera useless as the screen is the view finder and you cant see what you are taking a picture of.of course it didn't do it untill just after the warranty expired.

I purchased this camera for my husband 1 year ago. I also purchased the x-d card and energizer ultimate lithium batteries. My husband has only used 2 sets of these batteries since then and the photo quality has been super!! Also he has had 100 fine pictures on his card with 2 to 3 videos of 29+ minutes and did nit have a problem. Make sure you have the right batteries and x-d card and you will not be disappointed !! Just remember that the correct batteries and memory card make all the difference.

It has nice features, but I have a list of complaints; First it deleted all of my photos because you must first formatt the XD card before you use it. Second, you can't use your cards from your old digital camera. Only special Olympus cards. Third, the week my 3 month warranty expired it did not reconize my expensive recommended rechargeble batteries and Olympus wants to charge me $65 to repair it. I am done with this camera.

The camera is great! Once I figured out how to use it - the manual leaves much to be desired. Everything as advertised was included, the tripod is a little dinky, but overall this is an excellent value. The pics came out sharp and were easy to transfer.

I know this is supposed to be a review about the performance of the camera, but I received it in a non working condition, and many parts were missing. I hope you don't have the same the same luck and I guess that to avoid it, it is better not to purchase items in this site.

I thought this camera worked great for the price I paid. My only complaint was the turnover rate between pictures on some of the settings. Aside from that this camera is definitely what you pay for. The bonus kit is really small so don

I had purchased a new Kodak Easy Share C530 about 10 months ago, and was very unhappy with it...it cost a fortune to keep batteries replaced in it. Also the display screen is very small. A co-worker found this Olympus FE-230 on Overstock.com and purchased it. She only had great things to say about it. I had never visited Overstock.com before, and I'm happy that I took Judy's advise!!! I purchased the same camera and am very pleased with the photos, the battery (being able to charge it) with it's battery charger, all of the accessories, the Bonus Kit that was included with the camera. The Olympus Master 2 CD-ROM program is the BEST, and also easy to understand and use. This camera is VERY user friendly!!! This camera takes good photos. It's easy to use. I love the small size since I can just keep it in my purse and pull it out when I need it. The bonus kit has different accessories, like the screen protectors and cleaners, that I may not have purchased otherwise. The tri-pod seems a little iffy, but I haven't tried it yet. I am glad I purchased this camera. My children love taking pictures with it also.

This is a great camera. It's lightweight and easy to use. The picture quality is good everywhere except indoors. We are extremely satisfied with the deal we recieved and overall performance of the camera.

I am very pleased with the camera. I have used it and have had great results getting pictures, getting them into my computer and printing them off. Couldn't be more pleased
