I purchased this camera for my husband 1 year ago. I also purchased the x-d card and energizer ultimate lithium batteries. My husband has only used 2 sets of these batteries since then and the photo quality has been super!! Also he has had 100 fine pictures on his card with 2 to 3 videos of 29+ minutes and did nit have a problem. Make sure you have the right batteries and x-d card and you will not be disappointed !! Just remember that the correct batteries and memory card make all the difference.

It has nice features, but I have a list of complaints; First it deleted all of my photos because you must first formatt the XD card before you use it. Second, you can't use your cards from your old digital camera. Only special Olympus cards. Third, the week my 3 month warranty expired it did not reconize my expensive recommended rechargeble batteries and Olympus wants to charge me $65 to repair it. I am done with this camera.

The camera is great! Once I figured out how to use it - the manual leaves much to be desired. Everything as advertised was included, the tripod is a little dinky, but overall this is an excellent value. The pics came out sharp and were easy to transfer.

I know this is supposed to be a review about the performance of the camera, but I received it in a non working condition, and many parts were missing. I hope you don't have the same the same luck and I guess that to avoid it, it is better not to purchase items in this site.

slim; easy to carry, Uses memory cards to hold thousands of pics at one time to download to PC/laptop. Would buy another for the price alone.

I had purchased a new Kodak Easy Share C530 about 10 months ago, and was very unhappy with it...it cost a fortune to keep batteries replaced in it. Also the display screen is very small. A co-worker found this Olympus FE-230 on Overstock.com and purchased it. She only had great things to say about it. I had never visited Overstock.com before, and I'm happy that I took Judy's advise!!! I purchased the same camera and am very pleased with the photos, the battery (being able to charge it) with it's battery charger, all of the accessories, the Bonus Kit that was included with the camera. The Olympus Master 2 CD-ROM program is the BEST, and also easy to understand and use. This camera is VERY user friendly!!! I have become a Overstock.com shopper, the price is right, fast service, and most of the time free shipping, I have purchased other items since, and will continue to shop and buy. This camera takes good photos. It's easy to use. I love the small size since I can just keep it in my purse and pull it out when I need it. The bonus kit has different accessories, like the screen protectors and cleaners, that I may not have purchased otherwise. The tri-pod seems a little iffy, but I haven't tried it yet. I am glad I purchased this camera. My children love taking pictures with it also.

I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA AS A GRADUATION PRESENT FOR MY SON. HE LOVES THE SMALL SIZE, THE EASE OF USE AND THE IMAGE QUALITY. ALTHOUGH I SAW THIS CAMERA AT ANOTHER SITE FOR $109.00 BRAND NEW, IT DIDN'T COME WITH THE BONUS KIT, WHICH WAS $30.00 EXTRA, IT DIDN'T INCLUDE THE MINI TRIPOD, THE PROTECTION PLAN WAS DOUBLE OVERSTOCK'S COST FOR 3 YEARS, PLUS I HAD A COUPON FOR 10% OFF, SO ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GOOD DEAL!

This is a great camera. It's lightweight and easy to use. The picture quality is good everywhere except indoors. We are extremely satisfied with the deal we recieved and overall performance of the camera.

I found without reading the instructions I was able to take pictures right away. Instructions were easy to follow....and what clear pictures.....my wife and I have had a lot of enjoyment. Picture quality was very good...we couldn't wait to show our friends and take their pictures. Our friends were interested in getting the product themselves. Thank you.

First of all I love my new camera, so easy to use, great pictures, was worried about buying a refurbished camera, but Overstock was great. First camera I received wouldn't power on, I think it was the battery charger. Didn't matter, they immediately replaced with another one and it works great. I would recommend this camera to anyone, very user friendly. I give it five stars plus....

Bought this camera for my sister and she really is enjoying it. Overall ease of use, compact, nice features, no scratches - looks brand new. She hasn't printed any pictures but so far everything is A++. We recommend this camera to anyone.

This was a pleasant purchase. It is my first digital and, frankly, I had been concerned it would be too "techno" for me. Not at all. I would recommend this to any new purchaser. The only thing I have not learned well yet is the zoom feature, but its coming. Accessories were great addition.
