good card but slow

I have an older Olympus camera and this card runs slow. It takes about five seconds for the next picture taking mode to pop up after I take a shot. It also takes forever to download to my computer (also older, however). My old memory card did not do that. Also, this is the M+ version of the card which I was told did not work with older cameras. This might be the problem but it was advertised as just the M edition. Good price for the storage size but I will probably go back to my old card except for those extensive picture taking trips.

The memory card was exactly what I needed after going to other stores in the area and finding there would be only a 2GB memory card for my Olympus camera. Finding it inexpensive on Overstock, compared to Olympus-sponsored sites, I bought it.It was a good price and exactly enough memory I needed.

This memory card works just fine. It is almost double the price in most stores, so I was glad to get it for a much better price on overstock.

I take from 1,000 to 1,500 Digitals per month and have found this product to fit in my "most-excellent" category in all ways, even when I go through and discard (delete) unwanted photographs it records seamlessly perfect on all occasions. I recommend this Flash Card for anyone using compatible with from 7.0 Megapixels and up. However, I had not such the same success with a comparable Digital Camera of 5.0 MP, the current, industry standard. I give it a "thumbs-up" rating for compatible Digital camera users in the 7.0 MegaPixels and up!

Takes a lot of pictures

I have had no problems with this so far. I haven't printed any pictures from my camera using this card yet, I can't complain as of now. Wish I received it a little faster, but that has nothing to do with the product. This is a hard to find item in stores, at least for me it was! Glad overstock had it.

This 1G card for my camera allows you the freedom to never have to worry about running low on memory right in the middle of a photo session! A GREAT convenience at a GREAT value!

Misleading image for product

The Overstock.com image for this product shows a type-H xD-picture card. What they send you is actually a type-M card (Olympus part number 202169). See below for an explanation of why the type H cards are better for cameras. The type H cards can read and write data to the card FASTER than the type M cards. Therefore you can think of it as being able to take pictures faster with the type H card. If I'd known that this was a type-M card, I would have purchased elsewhere, and next time I will.

Good memory card, tiny size

Olympus Xd cards are very compact and efficient at storage--I've been very impressed with the quality of the images I have been able to produce with my Stylus camera. The auto-panorama function is very handy. I used one of the 1 gig cards last summer when working for the Forest Service in Idaho and I managed to get about 750 good quality images on the card--great capacity.
