  The shredder does a perfect job. Was a little concered about the one review about the kid putting fingers in the unit. When it arrived I made a point of testing this to see if I could get fingers into the unit (with the unit unplugged of course) and wasn't able to. I still took the time to educate my kids about the dangers of a shredder. Love the crosscut and the ability to handle 10 pages at a time with no trouble. Much better than our last one. I would recommend this unit for any home/home office application.

  It has been several weeks and I used it quite a bit. It holds up so far. But, it is not the micro cross cut. the pieces are not very small.

  All of the binding covers I had seen before were plastic, this one is not. It is a heavy paper but it is paper. Water destroys it and it rips too easy to be used for the purpose bought.
