I bought this camera a year ago and have been extremely happy with the purchase. I am probably what you would call an "overly pictoral mother" but feel you can never take too many pictures. I take this camera everywhere and take pictures of everything including sporting events, holidays, birthdays, outdoor activities and personal family portraits. I am not very technical and couldn't begin to give a review on megapixels, zoom, macro, BSS, or ISO. I can tell you, however, that this camera is incredibly portable, takes great pictures, can even take video and is easy to download to a computer which is pretty much all I need.

I bought this camera as a backup to our more expensive digital camera... the reality is I like it as much or more. The screen is huge, it is easy to use and has an interesting user interface. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a decent camera at a decent price point. The original retail cost on the overstock website is inflated, however, so you are not getting AS good of a deal as it appears... but, it is worth every dime I paid and then some. Don't hesitate on this one.... Please note, it does not come in the original box.

This was a gift for my husband and he is very happy. For some reason the memory card does not work in our pc but it doesn't matter because the Bluetooth is great! No need to remove the memory card! Excellent product for the money.

Bought in July but by December it is not functioning. Warranty is for 3 months......would not repurchase.Nikon is a good product but this purchase was a risk.

This was a refurbished iten which i bought as a gift for a family member. The camera works or does not work very unpredictably. The cameral will not turn on or will not turn off; the camera will turn on but the lens will not open; the AF indicator light will come on then remain on even when the camera is turned off!This is being returned for a refund due to the unpredictability of operation!

I was very excited to receive my camera only to find out that it would not take a charge. I had to send it off to Nikon's factory in California.

The price was right on this camera. It was refurbished and I am wary sometimes but have had good success so far. I also like the simple easy to use features. What drew me to the camera was the lens-there are many good cameras out there but I prefer the ones without retractable lenses.In bright sunlight LED screen is hard to read. For close up pictures it seems to be a slow to focus.

I had been wanting a small digital camera for a long time but the prices were more than I could justify. This camera is the perfect size and priced within my budget. It is very easy to operate and the vewing screen is very large. I had no problem transfering the pictures to my PC. I did purchase a memory card, seperately, in order to take more pictures before transfering them. I would recommend purchasing a carrying case in order to protect the screen from getting scratched when not using the camera. Not all of the accessories listed in the manual were included because this is a refurb, but nothing that kept me from using the camera. Overall I am very glad I bought this camera.

Point and shoot could not get any better. Best little camera I have found.

I purchased my Coolpix a few months ago (first digital) and am really enjoying it. The screen is super big, the print quality excellent and it fits perfectly in my hand. The on/off button is miniscule, but I can live with that. Downloading my pix to the computer was a breeze, and my friends and family are very impressed by the quality of the pictures. The Quick Start Guide and main instruction manual are very clear and helpful. My pets (two dogs, one cat) don't run when they see me bring this camera out so now I have some priceless shots. Great value for the buck!! Thanks, Overstock. I'll be back.

The warranty and camera came timely. The camera looks brand new and all the attachments had never been opened. I just came back from Baja with 275 pictures which I plan to bore all my friends with.

I really like the camera its small and sleek. The screen on it is bigger than any of the cameras i've had and the price was great! The only thing i seem to be having a little trouble with is trying to fig out some of the functions on it to get the best picture. But overall i love it and it does take really nice clear pictures.

If your weighing on buying this product but not quite sure if it has an SD slot. Don't worry if you look at all the overstock reviews of Nikon coolpix cameras they don't mention a card. Relax though, it has an SD slot next to the battery. This camera is just what I thought it would be. Can't tell its refurbished and is small enough you can take it wherever you go out and slip it in your pocket. Even comes with a camera strap too.

This is the 3rd coolpix S6 that I have owned. Two I broke by dropping & the last one I left in a taxi. Needless to say, I like this camera. The refurbished camera I bought arrived almost new. If I look very closely, I can tell it is not brand new. I am very happy.
