If you want to just plug in and play this is a great device. If you want to sleect from the IPOD menu then you are out of luck; no ability to see screen.
I've tried several different armbands in the past and this is by far the best one yet. As long as you don't have body builder type of biceps, then this band will fit perfectly on almost anyone. The best thing about it is that it has just enough room for the nano/nike + chip. I've had no problems controlling the music from the outside of the band while running. The only thing I'd recommend is to make sure you have your volume exactly where you're going to need it because you're not going to be able to control once you start running.
I still have my old iPod Nano and couldn't find a new arm band for it in the stores. I was THRILLED to find TWO arm bands at an incredibly reasonable price on Overstock.com!
