The system cannot be connected to security/services such as those offered by ADT or Brinks. The DVR is equipped with 8 channel inputs which allow a maximum of 8 cameras to be connected to the DVR via the included cabling. This particular system includes 8 cameras so the customer would not be able to integrate any additional cameras beyond the 8 that it comes with. The DVR is compatible with full analog cameras of a different manufacturer if they choose to not install one of the included cameras.
