  My sister's laptop fried a couple of weeks ago, and she's been using her old desktop that she had in the closet. But she didn't want to feed an ethernet cord from the router in our living room all the way to our computer room four rooms away. So, instead I ordered her this wifi adapter, and gave it to her as an early birthday present. It was really easy to install, she loves it, and it benefits my laptop as well. Lol.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Gives her desktop wifi, also strengthens my laptop's signal

  I downloaded and saved the most current driver from the Realtek site. Once the wireless adapter arrived, installation and setup was straight-forward and simple - just connect the device to a USB2 port and then install the driver and then configure it to your secure wireless connection. I bought more than one so I can connect and use it with my laptop to get faster speeds with my 802.11n wireless router.

  Had it up in running in five minutes and I didn't even read, let alone follow, the directions. Works totally fine so far (about a month in).

  This product works great, especially for being so cheap. I haven't had an issue with how powerful it is and it hasn't failed me yet. I couldn't be happier with the functionality of this product and how small it is. It barely takes up any room at all on my USB strip.
