Customer Reviews
I am extremely pleased with this item. It arrived in a very timely manner and was very easy to set up. I love the ability to be able to take my laptap anywhere in the house. The price was very very reasonable and especially with the club O discount. I would highly recommend this product to everyone.
the modem is very easy to install and it works properly as discribed . I would recommend it to to everyone.
I bought this router to replace an exact model, that had recently quite working. This router is worth the price. I've had no lose of connection even with ourother wireless devices running.
Solid performer, never dropped a connection until I started to broadcast SSID. I switched off the SSID broadcast two nights ago, and no more dropped connections!! I suspect the resetting is a defensive measure to prevent hackers from trying too many times to log in to your router. If you live in a dense urban area, after you set up all you Wi-Fi devices, you should log into your router and uncheck the SSID broadcast option. Turning off SSID broadcast does NOT prevent you from connecting your devices. I save the SSID and password on my laptop. It auto detects the signal and logs in when I'm home. If you accidently erase the account on your laptop, you have to turn SSID broadcast back on temporarily. Also- both our PC (XP) and Mac (OS X) notebooks and the Wii works perfectly with this router. Update- 8-15-08. A firmware update from Netgear solved the SSID broadcast and connection dropping issue.

I two x-boxes, a laptop and a wired computer off this and the only problem we've found is my fiancee has trouble with Halo if other stuff is running too, but once we connected him with the wire, he had no problems. I have no problems playing Tiger Woods Golf when everything is pulling off the router, so it just depends on what you're playing.
