This is a fantastic purchase! I was a little leary that it was "refurbished", but you cannot beat it for the price and it works, great! Be aware that it does not come with installation software. Instead, you receive a piece of paper of where to find the driver/info online to download. This is a simple device to install and use. I purchased it for my laptop so I could move throughout my 4000+ sq ft. home and am very happy with it. The other adapter I was using, was okay, as long as I didn't move too far away from my gateway, which then would give me a low signal, or dropped connections. This new adapter does the job and gives me a stronger and better connection.
