A cable network tech informed me that this is one of the adapters they recommend. My router is located on the second floor of a 2-story home. I receive excellent uninterrupted signal in my first floor office. My desktop PC is on 24/7 with no problems. I am satisfied with the purchase and I am an IP tech. The only thing that slows me down is my ISP.
