I purchased this item for my 15 year old step-son for Christmas. He loves the versatility of using the MP3 or CD player option. He raves about the sound quality for such a small piece of equipment.

This thing is a complete piece of junk. The radio is NOT a digital tuner, yes there is a digital display but it is not a digital tuner. The radio barely receives any stations AM or FM. The CD player skips over songs when it feels like it. The sound is horrible, very tin sounding with no way to adjust the sound. The remote is touchy and sometimes is very difficult to get to work even when you are using it less than one foot away from the unit.I have never seen a bigger pile of garbage in my life.DO NOT BUY this pathetic excuse for a CD/radio, you will be hugely disappointed.
