The Navigon 8100T is by far the best GPS of the higher-end class. It comes with real time traffic updates FREE, without any hidden charges, no activation fees or monthly fees. Also, the Navigon 8100T comes with Zagat Ratings of thousands of restaurants and hotels...also FREE, pre-loaded, and no monthly service charges. The graphics are unbelievably clear and the realistic topographic views are ahead of it's time, and unmatched by any other GPS I've ever owned or used. One of the features I like the best is the correct lane feature. If you are on an interstate in unfamiliar surroundings, it actually tells you which lane to get into, and shows you the highway signs that you are driving under. It shows you the city skyline while approaching a city. Honestly, the graphics will blow you away! I am completely satisfied with the Navigon 8100T, and would highly recommend it over the other brands in the same price range. (You know which ones). The thing I also like about the Navigon product, is that there is one for every budget...without sacrificing quality or features! I would urge anyone who is in the market for a new GPS to do your research, and feature for feature...you will end up with a Navigon!!! Happy travels!!!

Would have appreciated an instruction manual,it would have been able to answer some of the questions that I may have.

I have read reviews in other places and on Cnet, and all the complaints that were listed for Navigon were unfounded... The unit finds it's signal lock in a minute or less... The GPS messages can be heard above my normal volume level on my car radio, loud and clear... Destination entry is easy and quick... On screen information very helpful... Graphics very good... It works just as promised by Navigon... I'm totally satisfied...

I think it is a little expensive product but worth buying it!!!
